Capacity Resources for HIV Care Organizations

The Fenway Institute’s Division of Education and Training has been the recipient of three Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) cooperative agreements to provide technical assistance and capacity building services to Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program-funded recipients or sub-recipients for the implementation of innovative and evidence-informed interventions for people with HIV. These four-year, national initiatives are the first concrete applications of HRSA’s HIV/AIDS Bureau (HAB) implementation science approach.

HIV Street Medicine Capacity Building Provider (2025-2029)

Street Medicine Interventions for People with HIV Who are Unsheltered is a four-year (2025-2029) national initiative to implement, evaluate, sustain, and disseminate street medicine interventions that effectively respond to the needs of people with HIV who are unsheltered. The Division of Education and Training in The Fenway Institute, serves as the Capacity Building Provider in partnership with the National Health Care for the Homeless Council and the University of Southern California.

Innovative Interventions Coordinating Center for Technical Assistance (2021-2025)

Using Innovative Intervention Strategies to Improve Health Outcomes among People with HIV (2iS) was a four-year (2021-2025) national initiative to implement, evaluate, sustain, and disseminate innovative and emerging interventions that effectively respond to the needs of people with HIV. The Division of Education and Training in The Fenway Institute, in partnership with AIDS United, served as the Coordinating Center for Technical Assistance (CCTA).

Evidence-Informed Interventions Coordinating Center for Technical Assistance (2017-2021)

Using Evidence-Informed Interventions to Improve Health Outcomes among People Living with HIV (E2i) was a four-year (2017-2021) national initiative to implement, evaluate, sustain, and disseminate evidence-informed interventions that effectively respond to the needs of people with HIV. The Division of Education and Training in The Fenway Institute, in partnership with AIDS United, served as the Coordinating Center for Technical Assistance (CCTA).
